Inspiring Others to Overcome the Odds
Louie J. Castriota, Jr. is the founder of Leg Up Farm, Able-Services, Leg Up Farmers Market, and several other mission-driven organizations. When his daughter Brooke was diagnosed with a condition that affects cognitive and motor development, Louie traded his corporate career for a life of service - and began building what he wished existed for families like his.
What followed was a 13-year journey marked by grit, passion, and persistence. Louie raised over $30 million through grants, donations, and community support to bring his vision to life. In 2010, Leg Up Farm opened its doors - a one-of-a-kind therapy center that has now helped thousands of children thrive. Louie’s leadership blends innovation, empathy, and purpose-driven action.
Louie is a speaker, mentor, and the author of Leg Up: The Courage to Dream. Whether on stage or in everyday life, he encourages people to dream boldly, lead with heart, and “do the right things every day.” His story is a reminder that one person with a purpose really can change the world.
